With a strong background in Fine Art and Prop Making, I bring dedication and a unique creative vision to every project.  Professional, organised, and with a wealth of on-set and live event experience (TBI Media for Channel 4,  'Kitting Out' with Team Great Britain, etc.) I am confident in fulfilling production's needs and working in collaborative environments.

PAPERWORk

Below are examples of script breakdowns, unscripted dressing lists, asset distribution files and organisational materials that I have created for various projects. Being able to use Google Docs, create mood boards on Photoshop and sketching mock-ups in Sketchbook Pro allows me to provide fluid creative communication. Moreover, I am able to monitor the Art Department budget and ensure expenses remain minimal.

About Me!

Dedicated, creative, and art-driven, I am passionate about working in the Art Department for media productions.

As a final year student studying Film Production at the University of Gloucestershire, I have developed my skills of leading set builds, creating and adapting to a brief, developing ideas according to the Director's creative vision, and artistic expression!

I have a wide range of experience, from Floor Runner on various funded shorts ('CARE' / Fine Line Productions), Live Presenter for BFI-supported film festivals ('Stories Beyond the Veil' / Blue Metaphor Ltd.) and Lead Production Designer ('KOLO Youth Theatre Project' / Lizzie Minnion).

'As a designer Nia brings ingenuity and creative flair and is incredibly hard working and organised. Nia is extremely self motivated and takes initiative, and is also very in tune with the subtleties and nuances of a project and is sensitive to the particular needs of a group. Nia is also great fun to work with and takes on notes and feedback very well indeed.'

Lizzie Minnion, Director of 'KOLO Youth Theatre Project'
